My name is Eden and I am a sophomore
at ETSU. I am an Allied Health major with a Communicative Disorders minor. I want to become a Speech-Language Pathologist.
I graduated from Elizabethton High School in 2006 where I was valedictorian of my class. I also played basketball, danced,
was in the band and colorguard, and many academic related clubs. Now I am coaching a 15 & under girl's basketball team,
babysitting for multiple families, and working as a server at The Firehouse Restaurant.
Any dictionary would describe me as "a state of innocence
and bliss, delightful, paradise." I, however, can only describe myself as a minute dot on the face of an unimaginable universe,
one created by a God so fierce yet so loving to willingly sacrifice His beloved child. I am a complicated person with simple
minded beliefs. I strive every day towards a goal to achieve what I want in life, though I have no idea what that may be.
I love to travel. I have been to Ireland and Scotland and will visit Greece and Italy before I die. Sit me down with some
friends and a Pals sweet tea and you'll have my attention all afternoon. Give me music and you'll never see me. I have sponsored
two children from India, and enabled one to be placed in a home with a permanent family to love him. I am an athlete, a dancer,
and a musician. I always think about how others view me and hope that it is as a faithful servant to the Lord. I love baseball.
The Minnesota and Elizabethton Twins make my summer complete. Children are my passion. I have an amazing boyfriend who loves
Jesus more than me. I work at a restaurant where I have more than co-workers...I have friends. I am a typical, southern, baptist,
daddy's girl. I'm moody and distressed at times. I'm crazy and fun at times. I'm never the same person two days in a row,
but I am always....always a follower of the One who sets my soul on fire.
